Sarah is highly involved with the Queen's University School of Rehabilitation Therapy where she is both an Adjunct Academic Staff member and a member of the Admissions Selection Committee. With a strong theoretical knowledge of the human body, Sarah also brings to the program a great deal of experience as a high performance athlete. Sarah was a carded athlete and member of Canada’s national track and field team. As a competitor in the women’s high jump, Sarah captured gold in the Canadian University Championships in 1995, a gold medal at the Canada Summer Games, as well as a silver medal at the Pan American Jr. Games in 1993.
The Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center is home to the Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Department, Intercollegiate Athletic Department, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The center is filled with educational programs and opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to positively impact their health and well-being. Whether one is attending an athletic event, engaged in academic classes, or participating in activities to improve their personal fitness, the Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center serves as a campus-wide community learning center.
